Here were some more highlights from our Fall:
*We went to the Four Mile Historic Park in Cherry Creek for a Fall Festival and saw tee pees, covered wagons, horses, and more.
*We went to a pumpkin patch and festival at the Chatfield Botanical Gardens in Littleton, and it was so much fun! We each found a pumpkin and cut it off the vine ourselves. Lucy also got to ride her first carnival rides--a tiny ferris wheel and the airplanes. She enjoyed bouncing in the bouncy castles too. We can't wait to make it an annual tradition!
*Lucy had both sets of grandparents visit for before/during Halloween. She chose to be a pirate and Mommy made her costume for her. She looked so cute and we got to go to Boo at the Zoo, as well as a quick trick or treat for the first time on Halloween night. It was really windy so we went to about 8 houses and Lucy got to eat some treats and hand out candy before bed time. She loved it.
*Thanksgiving was spent in Colorado this year. It was relaxing to have the week off to spend with Lucy. We had Aunt Blair and Anthony over for our first Thanksgiving feast in the new house. Anthony and Lucy spent the evening playing in a couch fort while the rest of us were too full to move...thanks Anthony!
More to come on Christmas! We just got back from a great trip to St. Louis.
