-Feeling Baby 2 move! I've noticed some random "bubbles" and flutters since about 16 weeks, and they've just been getting a little bit more noticeable the past 2 weeks. It's so exciting and makes me even more thrilled for when Lucy and Bryan can feel!
-Countdown to the big day on Friday...official guesses: Bryan-girl, Lucy-girl, Katie-girl (that way we're either all wrong or all right!)
-Feeling pretty good in the 2nd trimester--just tired and my feet hurt!
18 weeksLife with Lucy:
(I don't want to forget with all this baby business that we have the most entertaining and hilarious 3.5 year old ever. Gotta remember these too!)
-Lucy's favorites: acting like she's Elsa, singing Jungle Book songs, Let it Go, and ALL the radio songs (especially Love Runs Out, Rude, On Top of the World), acting like she's our teacher by teaching us songs, telling us to use quiet voices, and making us walk around in "line" to the "playground" (her room).
-Lucy is becoming so independent and loves feeding Bailey, getting everyone waters, wiping her messes, peeling her own hard boiled eggs, etc. Many thanks to Montessori school and having a mom who was sickly pregnant and couldn't do much this summer for her! ;)
-Favorite quotes...we asked Lucy what she learned about Maria Montessori (they celebrated her birthday at school) and she said with a straight face "she fell into hot water and is dead." Bryan and I got big eyes and then lost it. I was in tears trying to hold back my laughter. I finally couldn't anymore and Lucy wondered what the big deal was. We were totally not expecting that answer and couldn't contain our shock/laughter. She also feeds me some of her food and says "eat this because it will go into your tummy and into the baby's mouth." Such a caring big sister already!
-Lucy's been doing great at preschool. She's starting to get even more comfortable and trying new things. She has been a bit timid at first, even though she's a wild, crazy, dancing/singing machine at home--hmm, like mother like daughter. She loves the class fish, Peace Fish, and comes home telling us about different friends she's meeting. It's the highlight of my day to rush over and pick her up and talk with her about her day.
