15 Months

It seems that this month Lucy has grown up in a flash.  She started doing so many new (and adorable) things, and she seems so big now.  This month she's been a little cranky, trying to get those two front teeth in, but she's still our favorite girl to be around. 

15 Month Fill in the Blanks:
-Mommy's favorite things Lucy has done this month are give high fives and DANCE!

-Daddy's favorite things Lucy has done this month are pucker up for kissies and make the 'more' sign.


-The words on the street this month are dog, doggie, Mommy (even Daddy gets called this at the moment), Bay-ee (Bailey), and waving hi/bye.  She also communicates with some signs she/we have created on our own, including a chomping hand motion for the word alligator--you know, a very important word to have in your vocab!


-Bailey's favorite thing Lucy has done this month is not listen to her parents by throwing food at me/the ground. 


-Lucy kicked off her summer this Memorial Weekend by going on her first hike on South Table Mountain, exploring the Butterfly Pavilion, and hanging out with her Unruh boyfriends and Mommy and Daddy's friends at a BBQ.  


-Lucy wishes that watermelon was served at every meal, that she could always play outside, and that Bailey really listened to her when she points and shouts jibberish commands at her. 

-Mommy and Daddy wish they could bottle up Lucy's squeal and laughter that comes with playing chase, making funny faces, and being tickled. 


-Lucy was caught being 15 months going on 15 years when she was kissing Logan all day at daycare, she throws her fit at not getting her way, and drives her new toy car.  

She is an absolute joy to have around, and we are so blessed to have this funny, clever, opinionated girl in our lives!  She knows what she wants and goes for it.  Even if that includes fake coughing so we know she needs a drink of water (who needs sign language, she's creating her own stuff!)  We love her beyond words can describe, and I am so excited for this summer and new adventures with her!
