Not much happening this week that is new to report. We did change the date of our 21 week ultrasound from Oct. 19th to the 18th. So now we get to find out if it is a chico or chica one day earlier, and/or watch the little one for an hour long ultrasound! Super excited about that one.
Hopefully that appointment will kick us back into nursery mode, and we can then get moving on finishing that in November before the holidays! Still looking for furniture for the room daily on craigslist and other websites, and just ready to buy something already.
As far as the baby and belly go, it is definitely getting bigger. My belly button is becoming weirder and weirder every day. The top lip of it is starting to poke out and it is just bizarre! Still no maternity pants yet, hanging on with the Bella Band since my pants fit everywhere else, and I just need help with the zipping. Baby Fingland is developing his/her senses of taste, touch, vision, hearing, and smell these days. We are also almost to the HALFWAY point (20 weeks). Crazy how fast it has gone by so far! We also got our blood work results back, and they were negative for any signs of down syndrome, spinal bifida, and other stuff it tested for. Praying for a healthy little one in February still, and everything so far is looking good!
We forgot to take a new belly pic this weekend, so we took one quickly before work this morning. I had some leftover pants from when I was in between weights, and they are a lower rise. This meant something very exciting for this picture...no elastic waist AND pants that are zipped!
